Emma oversees all of Ageing Better's external engagement, increasing the organisation’s profile and reach and working to influence the attitudes and actions of a wide range of stakeholders.

Emma is a huge advocate for tackling ageism and changing the negative and outdated attitudes that exist around ageing and older people and has led Ageing Better’s work to date exploring how ageing is portrayed across different aspects of public life.

She is also a Trustee of the Carers Centre Tower Hamlets, an organisation providing vital practical and emotional support to unpaid carers.

Emma previously worked at The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of communities in the UK, including senior roles overseeing media and stakeholder relations.
